The ABEF Film Production team is currently focused on creating short films in New Zealand and promoting Indian films in the country, as well as bringing New Zealand films to India. They are also proposing to translate Indian movies into Maori and English, and New Zealand movies into Indian languages. Additionally, they are involved in promoting and organizing the Aotearoa and Bharat film festival. Currently, they are also working on some short films in India.
